	Through various incidents in Korea, this play portrays the profound sorrows of our society today. This is the latest work by Kim, Eun Sung the winner of the 3rd Doosan Artist Award. The acclaimed novelist Seung Woo suddenly loses his wife and daughter in a car accident. Devastated, Seung Woo gives up writing. Then one day, his daughter appears in his dream, desperately asking him to start writing, and Seung Woo decides to write again after three years. Through various incidents, this play portrays the trauma of loss, feelings of indebtedness among those remaining, and the profound sorrows of our society today. 	My 'confession' is that I come to be realized as you and we become more similar to each other – the true story of an actual couple. Mirror in the Mirror, the only piece of work that was chosen by the Performing Arts Fostering Program is participating in this year's Seoul Performing Arts Festival. It is a piece that originated from the couple Kim Jae-Seung and Jang Yun-na’s actual experience. The piece is directed in a witty way in portraying the story of the two dancer's real lives, while maintaining the quality of the work to perfection. 	One music, two different choreographies – the expansion of contemporary music through the language of movement The Korea National Contemporary Dance Company(KNCDC) and Korean Symphony Orchestra have co-produced new creations with two brilliant guest choreographers, Soodong JUNG and Haejun LEE. Soodong JUNG is working actively at home and abroad, such as in Spain, Austria, Germany, and Singapore, while Haejun LEE is solidifying his place as a dancer as well as a choreographer by winning world-famous prizes in Japan and in the United States. This collaboration between choreography and orchestra reinterprets American contemporary composer John Adams’ music Shaker Loops using two different textures of movement. The KNCDC attempts to gain a new vitality through openness to new proposals and experiments from the perspective of ‘here and now’, based on senses penetrating various phenomena of the body and contemporary Korean life. Through contemporary dance, it deals with historical, social and daily experiences and raises relevant questions. 	A Painting Performance of the Fantasy and Disillusionment of a Drunken Man! When he vomits and urinates on a wall, his vomit is splashed onto the wall, being reborn as a splendid mural, and the drunk man falls into the vision. The vision, however, is erased as urine washes away the vomit. This is a painting performance that sheds light on the fantasy and disillusionment of a drunken middle aged man and his struggle with an urban wall. It looks at the aftermath of a life of intoxication, dreams and the lack thereof, and suggests a sincere look at the state of man today. CCOT (meaning 'flower' in Korean) is a troupe of performers, painters and musicians. 	Living in indeterminacy, fantasizing in anomaly That singular moment of becoming queer, becoming glam. Anomalous Fantasy refuses to reenact past glory by summoning the specter of yeoseong gukgeuk, a form of modern changgeuk (“Korean opera” or Korean musical theatre rooted in traditional music) that featured an all-female cast and once enjoyed inimitable popularity in the pre- and post-Korean War period before its rapid decline. What it is, is a performance of anomaly that zigzags between gender and politics, re-performance and representation, memory and affect by engaging in the story of an actor who has veered away from a mundane life to become a yeoseong gukgeuk “male” actor in the 2000s. Siren Eun Young Jung’s work thematizes the expansion and praxis in the idiom of feminist art. 	Object-Based Theater <Ten Years Please> is an object-oriented performance using objects as main actors. In 2007, the artist, Jewyo Rhii had an exhibition, <Ten Years, Please>, in which the artist entrusted her works from the past to an individual who applied to take care of them for the next ten years. Ten years later, in 2017, the artist brings back those works to the public space of theater, facing the thickness of the time accumulated on the artworks while detached from the artist. The artworks, particularly characterized as feeble, possibly forgotten and neglected in the corner of personal space, or possibly treated as special things, now emerge beautifully as figures of the aged that still stand in their own ways. Curatorial Lab Seoul (CLS) was founded by Director and curator Hyunjin Kim in 2012.
